Fall (pron.: /ˈɔːtəm/, /ˈɑːtəm/ or /fɔːl/, /fɑːl/, respectively) is one of the
four temperate seasons. Autumn marks the transition from summer into winter, in
September (Northern Hemisphere) or March (Southern Hemisphere) when the arrival
of night becomes noticeably earlier.
